美國肯塔基州婦產科女醫荷斯工作到自己生產前最後一秒鐘！荷斯周日住院準備催生，卻聽到隔壁待產室產婦因陣痛不斷哀號，荷斯看對方好像很痛，醫生還在趕來醫院的路上，她毅然決定不能再等，親自下床幫忙接生。荷斯（Amanda Hess）說：「我真的熱愛我的工作，我喜歡照顧孕婦跟寶寶，很多醫生即使自己生病也惦記著病人。」所以即使她已經住院準備催生，她仍決定出手幫在隔壁哀號的產婦接生。她拿了件病人服披在背上，蓋住身上穿的病人服背後縫隙，腳上再套上靴子，避免自己的腳被產婦的體液噴到，走到隔壁產房才發現產婦竟然是她前幾天才檢查過的病人。荷斯幫病人接生完女兒後，換自己躺到產台上，生下一女。病人感激地說：「我陣痛的時候她剛好在旁邊且願意幫忙，我真的好幸運。」（陳怡妏／綜合外電報導）

A PREGNANT doctor in the middle of labour rushed to help another woman give birth.

Both mums and their babies are well after the dramatic births in Kentucky

Leah Halliday Johnson’s doctor was on his way to the hospital to help the young mum.

So brave Amanda leapt into action, putting her own birthing pains to one side, and going to Leah’s aid down the corridor.

Speaking after the birth in Kentucky, Amanda said: “Doctors are always thinking of their patients even when they’re a patient themselves.”

Incredibly, she realised she had performed a check-up on Leah just days earlier.

但是，死亡相揪，同一個病房，同一個家族，同一個社區裡，經常會有類似的事情發生，那就是衰事連連了～～

許多老年人、病人都會對出殯、送葬等非常忌諱，就怕被一起揪走咩。
