〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕美國賓州（Pennsylvania）近日發生1起槍擊事件，一對七旬夫妻在家休息時，突然有名54歲半裸男子闖入住所，甚至將人妻壓在床上狂毆，丈夫為了自保，被迫持槍射殺嫌犯；據悉，警方介入調查中。
綜合外媒報導，事件22日發生在伯威克鎮（Berwick Township），一對七旬不具名的夫婦中午在家休息時，54歲陌生男子謝弗（Steven Shaffer）僅穿著上衣、下身半裸便闖入住所，並立刻開始襲擊丈夫，這時丈夫要求太太趕緊前往臥室取槍防衛。
報導指出，謝弗聽聞尾隨在太太身後，接著將她強壓於床鋪上狂毆，丈夫此時趁機持槍射殺謝弗，2人才保住小命。
據知，2名受害者已送往醫院治療，太太傷勢嚴重，病況危急，持續搶救中。
當地警方表示，已將謝弗送往驗屍，目前尚未清楚男嫌闖入夫妻住宅的原因，夫妻也與謝弗並不認識，詳情繼續調查中。
UPDATE: Pennsylvania State Police said an Adams County homeowner fatally shot an intruder who assaulted him and his wife inside their home.
State police said they received numerous calls around 11:22 a.m. Wednesday about a man who was trying to get into a home and banging on vehicles on Green Springs Road in Berwick Township.
That man, who troopers identified as 54-year-old Steven Shaffer, then entered the home of a married couple in their 70s through an unlocked front door and began assaulting the man, state police said.
When the man told his wife to get a firearm from a bedroom, state police said, Shaffer followed the woman and assaulted her.
State police said the woman's husband retrieved the gun and fired multiple shots, killing Shaffer.
Both victims were taken to a hospital. State police said the woman sustained significant injuries and is in critical condition.
State police said Shaffer lives near the victims but they did not know him.
